Center for Peacemaking grants available for faculty and staff; apply by March 1

The Center for Peacemaking is offering several grant opportunities for faculty and staff, including: 

Rynne Research Fellowship 
The Rynne Faculty Research Fellowships are intended to fund work for a two-month period during the summer; two awards of $3,500 are granted each year.  

Faculty are encouraged to submit a research proposal that relates to any of the Center’s interdisciplinary priority research areas and are welcome to consider international as well as local research projects. (If your proposal involves travel, you need to take account of the University’s travel policies.)

Research mini-grants
The Center for Peacemaking is offering research grants of up to $300 for Marquette faculty to advance research on an aspect of nonviolent peacemaking. These funds can be used for faculty research expenses or to hire a student research assistant. Complete the appropriate application below. 

To help complete a specific portion of their research, faculty will receive fundsFunds cannot be used to pay for the salary of a faculty member or to reimburse an expense that has already occurredMore information and the application is available on the Center for Peacemaking website.  

Student research assistants are also available to help complete research. Possible roles include transcription, coding, editing, conducting interviews, compiling data, translation, etc. The student will be hired by the Center for Peacemaking. More information and the application is available on the Center for Peacemaking website
