Wisconsin’s 2026 fall general election day will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; if you are in line by 8 p.m. and there are people ahead of you, you may stay in line past the cutoff time. You retain the right to cast your ballot.
Here are some reminders from Marquette Today:
- There is still time to make your voting plan
- A comprehensive guide for voting while at Marquette is available on the Marquette Vote website.
- On Election Day, Marquette non-partisan volunteers will be on-hand for assistance at all campus-area voting sites, as well as the landing on the second floor of the Alumni Memorial Union. Students can stop by AMU 137 or call (414) 288-0094 for rides to voting sites.
- If you are voting at an off-campus location, remember to walk in groups or take transportation provided by Marquette voting volunteers. At this time of year, sunset arrives earlier every day.
