The Pocket Prairie Poetry Series will be held on Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The series is an informal chance to come together in the most bio-diverse place on campus to celebrate the literary arts and conviviality. Readings are chosen for the fall, but suggestions for the spring are welcome.
The pocket prairies are two sections of land on Eckstein Common featuring native Wisconsin plants, including wildflowers, grasses and shrubs, and are an effort to restore pollinator habitats while providing several other benefits to the campus ecosystem.
Come to listen, join in the reading and/or just to rest.
