Registration is now open for Mission Week, a weeklong celebration featuring opportunities to study, listen, discuss and pray to become better informed and transformed human beings at Marquette University.

Monaghan Ballrooms in Alumni Memorial Union

Inspired by the Gospel call to let our light shine, The Gathering will explore themes of humility, generosity, inclusivity and the power of relationships. Whether you are new to Marquette or have been part of the community for many years, this event offers an opportunity to pause, reconnect with colleagues and reflect on the ways each of us helps advance Marquette’s mission every day.

Together, attendees will enjoy lunch, conversation, prayer and reflection centered on Marquette’s 2026 Mission Week theme, “Let your light shine” (Matthew 5:16). Through inspiring presentations, personal reflection and opportunities for connection, participants will be invited to consider how each of us is called to share our gifts in service of others and contribute to the flourishing of our university community.

We hope you will join Mission and Ministry as we gather in gratitude, celebrate our community and recommit ourselves to being a light for and with others. All are welcome.

The Camino de Santiago is an ancient pilgrimage that draws people from around the world to walk simply, share life with others and journey together to Santiago. By stepping away from the distractions of everyday life, pilgrims often discover deeper joy, connection, humility and healing — and here, we hope to recreate a bit of that experience.
