After a brief summer hiatus, President Kimo Ah Yun returned to WTMJ’s “The Upswing” to reflect on the start of the academic year, the arrival of the Class of 2030, lessons from a summer trip to Rome and Marquette’s ongoing connection to the Milwaukee community.
In this episode, President Ah Yun discusses welcoming the Class of 2030 to campus and the excitement of move-in day for students and their families. Drawing on his own experience as the parent of two Marquette students, he shares insights on helping first-year students build connections, find community and develop the skills needed to succeed in college.
