Marquette University’s College of Business Administration will host the Baum Spirit of Entrepreneurship Summit Presented by Marcus Corporation on Nov. 18 at Hilton Milwaukee. The complimentary symposium will celebrate the legacy of late board member David Baum while advancing entrepreneurship and innovation throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
Beginning at 2 p.m., the summit will feature keynote speaker Bill Aulet, Ethernet Inventors Professor of the Practice of Entrepreneurship and managing director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. The event will also include a panel discussion featuring Wisconsin corporate innovation and entrepreneurship leaders.
Between events, Marcus Corporation will host a reception for networking and an opportunity to meet early-stage founders from eastern Wisconsin who are completing the Fall cohort of the MKE Tech Hub Coalition’s FOR-M program.
The summit will conclude with the third annual Marquette Invitational Pitch Competition from 4:30–8 p.m., showcasing student founders from up to 10 colleges and universities across eastern Wisconsin.
