Faculty and staff are invited to participate in the second iteration of Campus Companions, an initiative designed to foster meaningful relationships across the university through shared conversation and community.
Inspired by Marquette’s commitment to employee belonging in a spirit of cura personalis and building connections across roles and departments, Campus Companions brings together faculty and staff in small groups for a free meal at a campus dining location. The fall program builds on the success of its inaugural semester, which created opportunities for participants to learn about each other’s work, share experiences and strengthen the Marquette community.
Participants will be matched with new groups and encouraged to meet at least once during the semester at a time that works best for their schedules. The program will culminate in a social on Friday, Jan. 29, 2027, hosted by the Office of Mission and Ministry at The Brew in O’Brien Hall, where companions can gather, connect and reflect on the experience together.
Campus Companions will also be entered into a raffle to win one of two parking passes, valid for one month of free parking (recipients must already have an established Marquette parking permit).
Those who participated previously and wish to continue meeting with their existing group may contact Conor Kelly, associate vice provost of faculty affairs, to request meal tickets. Organizers encourage returning participants to consider joining a new group this semester as an opportunity to build additional relationships across campus.
Faculty and staff interested in participating should complete the registration form by Friday, Oct. 2.
