Alpha Sigma Nu, the international Jesuit Honor Society founded at Marquette University by Rev. John Danihy, S.J., in 1915, will be inducting its new group of 83 juniors, seniors and graduate students on Saturday, Sept. 26, immediately following the 5:30 p.m. Family Weekend Mass at Church of the Gesu.
In addition, six honorary members will be inducted this year:
- Dr. Debbie Tahmassebi, provost
- Dr. Conor Kelly, vice provost for faculty affairs
- Prof. Julia Schultz, Instructor of Practice and Director of the Communication Leadership (C-Lead) Program
- David Krill, senior vice president of Marquette’s Real Estate Leadership Institute
- David Urbanski, Marquette alumnus and teacher of Latin at Brookfield Academy
- Rev. Stephen Pitts, S.J., Wade Chair and visiting assistant professor of economics
