Stacy Tuchel, executive assistant in the Office of Marketing and Communication, was named to BizTimes Milwaukee’s list of Notable Executive Assistants.
Tuchel, one of 15 recognized by BizTimes Milwaukee, supports more than 30 OMC colleagues while serving as a trusted resource across the university. In addition to coordinating complex schedules and meetings, Tuchel plays a key role in the work of the Marquette Crisis Management Team, helping organize logistics for the university’s annual crisis drill and other preparedness efforts. She also helps foster community within the office through employee engagement and service initiatives and morale-boosting events.
In 2024, Tuchel helped coordinate logistics as Marquette hosted law enforcement officials during the Republican National Convention, overseeing hospitality check-in and check-out operations.
Tuchel is a 2020 recipient of the Excellence in University Service Award, Marquette’s highest honor for staff members.
Outside of Marquette, Tuchel has spent 25 years volunteering with Cookin’ Up a Cure, a fundraiser benefiting the TSC Alliance. She became involved after her friend Pam, who organizes the fundraiser, lost a child to tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). Tuchel oversees the silent auction and manages the check-in and checkout process.
Notable Executive Assistants is part of BizTimes Milwaukee’s Notable series, which recognizes leaders in the southeastern Wisconsin business community.
