MarKept Market opening Aug. 26

Looking for affordable items for your residence hall, apartment or home? MarKept, Marquette’s campus reuse store, will reopen Aug. 26-28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shop gently used household essentials while saving money and reducing your environmental footprint.

At the end of the spring semester, students moving out of residence halls and university housing donated more than 10,000 pounds of gently used items through the MarKept program. Those donated items will be available for purchase to help students find affordable essentials as they prepare for the academic year.

Shopping at MarKept helps keep usable items out of landfills and supports a more sustainable campus. Proceeds from sales help fund the continued operation of MarKept and future Campus Sustainability initiatives.
