Mission Convocation set for Aug. 19

New faculty, staff invited to participate

The Office of Mission and Ministry invites new faculty and staff to Mission Convocation in the Lemonis Center for Student Success on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mission Convocation is held annually for new faculty and staff to come together to learn and reflect on the shared mission and what it means to work at a Catholic, Jesuit institution.

Mission Convocation will focus on why mission matters, what the mission calls us to do and how we are called to live the mission.

The goal for the day is to provide a clearer understanding of the Catholic and Jesuit tradition that characterizes Marquette University. Marquette cherishes this tradition and looks forward to sharing it with you as you continue your service at the university.

All employees must have supervisor approval to attend Mission Convocation.
As part of the day’s events, the Office of Mission and Ministry will give away Mission Week T-shirts and raffle off items throughout the day.

Registration closes on Aug. 14.
