The Institute for Women’s Leadership Interdisciplinary Summer Grant Program seeks to foster community-based, interdisciplinary research collaborations across the university that further our understanding of gender and/or sex and leadership in life experiences. In its seventh year, the IWL Interdisciplinary Summer Research Grant program continues to help fund research and support efforts to pursue larger, extramurally-funded projects. IWL’s Interdisciplinary Summer Grant Program supports projects involving collaborators from two or more disciplinary backgrounds or traditions, recognizing that gender/sex intersects with many fields.
