Counseling services and pastoral support are available to faculty, staff and students as we join in praying for those impacted by a tornado that struck Appleton and Menasha earlier this week.
Additional, direct support from the Division of Belonging and Student Affairs and Campus Ministry is being provided to students from the Fox Valley.

- Campus ministers and affiliated ministers are available to talk in a supportive setting.
- Marquette Counseling Center staff are available for drop-in visits and by appointment in Holthusen Hall; visit or call (414) 288-7172. The Counseling Center is staffed in-person, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the week, and counselors are available 24/7 via phone.
- Iggy’s Market is available to those with any unmet food or clothing needs. Information on their weekly hours and contact information can be found online.
- Marquette’s sacred spaces are readily accessible for prayer and/or reflection.
- The Office of Student Development is staffed with support resources, including the CARE Team case manager. You can reach Erin Gannon, dean of students, at erin.gannon@marquette.edu if you want to speak with someone.
- Marquette’s Employee Assistance Program, LifeMatters, provides up to six free confidential, independent sessions with a master’s-level counselor for faculty and staff. Additional grief resources are available for employees on the Human Resources website.
- The Faber Center is available for faculty and staff in need of support and guidance rooted in the Ignatian tradition.
