The Academic Resource Center Tutoring program and Marquette Athletics Academic Services have renewed their Level 1 International Tutor Training Program Certification through the College Reading and Learning Association.
The certification recognizes programs that meet established standards for tutor selection, training, direct service and program evaluation. As part of the renewal process, both programs successfully completed a peer review demonstrating continued compliance with CRLA’s rigorous requirements.
For more than 30 years, CRLA has been a leader in learning assistance, reading and academic support, with nearly 1,300 members and more than 2,000 certified tutor training programs worldwide.
Maintaining CRLA certification reflects the commitment of both programs to providing high-quality academic support and training student tutors to help their peers succeed. The renewal also affirms Marquette’s ongoing dedication to fostering student success through effective and accessible learning resources.
