The Marquette Spirit Shop was honored at the 2026 Collegiate Licensing Seminar in Kansas City, Missouri, earlier this month, recognized as one of the best experiential retail programs.
The Spirit Shop was chosen from over 600 institutions for its creation of the RGV Collection — a collaboration with Men’s Head Basketball Coach Shaka Smart representing his core values of Relationships, Growth and Victory.
In addition to reinforcing the nexus between Smart and Marquette and elevating the university brand, a portion of the proceeds generated through sales of the collection supported the Bo and Candy Ellis Student Success Fund, which provides emergency funds to Marquette students in need.
