Recovery at Marquette, founded in 2024, is a program that helps support students in or pursuing recovery from alcohol and substance use. Its mission is to support Marquette students in recovery from substance use concerns to build community, promote healing and holistic health and to help students reach their full potential. The Recovery Center is housed in room 302 of the Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility.
Below is the summer schedule for support offerings and other meetings on campus:
- Mondays at 2 p.m. in the Recovery Center: Recovery literature study (open to students)
- Tuesdays at 5 p.m. in the Recovery Center: All-recovery meeting (open to students and recent alumni- dinner provided)
- Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. in the Recovery Center: staff and faculty all-recovery meeting (staff and faculty only, meets in the back room)
- Thursdays at 7 p.m. in Gesu Parish Center: Young and recovering AA meeting (open to the general public)
- Fridays at 11 a.m. in Gesu Parish Center: Short and serene NA meeting (open to general public)
Drop-in hours at the Recovery Center are:
- Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon
- Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Fridays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Individuals looking for additional support can sign up for the Collegiate Recovery Program. One-on-one recovery coaching is also available.
