For the fifth year in a row, the Office of Mission and Ministry is hosting a slew of events this summer to deepen campus’s connections to faith and inspire Ignatian Spirituality.
The Ignatian Summer Series events give attendees the opportunity to take time from their daily routine and explore Ignatian Spirituality through an artistic lens.
This years events include:
- June 3, Bold and Balanced: Making your own salad dressing
- June 11, Jesuit Works Tour
- A tour around Milwaukee visiting other Jesuit institutions
- June 16, Camino Walk
- July 15, Jars of Joy: An Ignatian Creation Workshop
- Attendees will paint vases
- July 23, A Seminar on the Letters of St. Ignatius
- Aug. 3, Celebration of St. Ignatius Mass and Lunch
- Aug. 19, Mission Convocation (new hires only)
For each session attended, participants will earn an entry into a drawing for Marquette swag. Additional sessions attended increase the number of entries. One winner will be selected at random during Mission Convocation.
Further, attendance at each event counts as participation in mission engagement events to earn the Ignatian Education of Distinction from the Office of Mission and Ministry. To register for any or all the events, click here.
