Holy Hour for Peace, April 9

The entire Marquette community is invited to join in a Holy Hour for Peace on Thursday, April 9, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family. During this time, participants will come before our Lord with prayer, songs, readings from Scripture, and silent meditation, imploring Him to pour peace upon our world.

Pope Leo XIV emphasized in his recent Easter message, urbi et orbi, the importance of dialogue, love and nonviolence: “In the light of Easter, let us allow ourselves to be amazed by Christ! Let us allow our hearts to be transformed by his immense love for us! Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by force, but through dialogue! Not with the desire to dominate others, but to encounter them!”

All members of the community are welcome to participate.
