The Lemonis Center for Student Success will host a Student Success Dialogue on holistic advising on Tuesday, April 21, at noon in the Lemonis Center Multipurpose Room.
The event will highlight Marquette’s evolution toward a holistic, proactive and relationship-centered advising model that supports students academically, personally and professionally.
Presenters will outline key milestones in building an integrated advising infrastructure, including the Advising Bulletin, MySuccess, the Marquette Advisor Academy and the development of shared advising workflows grounded in cura personalis.
The presentation will emphasize why holistic advising matters for students, faculty advisers and the institution, while connecting this work to national trends and Marquette’s long-term Student Success Initiative goals.
The dialogue serves as a lead-in to Global Advising Week, April 27–May 1, setting the tone for a week that celebrates the impact of holistic advising and a shared commitment to cura personalis at Marquette.
Presenters include:
- Laura MacBride, director of student success analytics
- Julie Radford, lead student success advising and recruitment, College of Nursing
- Dr. Nicolle Skoien, associate director of undergraduate advising
