Faculty and staff parking permits set to expire; renew before June 26

Faculty and staff parking permits expire Friday, July 31, and 10-month permits expire Sunday, May 31. Permits do not renew automatically.

Employees who wish to continue parking on campus must submit a renewal application through the “Manage Your Parking Account” portal on the Parking Services website.

Employees have until Friday, June 26, at 4 p.m. to renew their parking permit through the online portal. Those who renew their permit by June 26 will receive their parking permit through campus mail in July. After June 26, employees can still purchase a permit through the online parking portal; however, they will need to stop into Parking Services after July 20 to pick up their permit.

When logging into the parking portal, employees will be prompted to confirm vehicle information, choose their parking permit type and select their parking lot or structure. Anyone who chooses a new lot or structure different from their current assignment will be notified throughout the summer if their request for a new assignment was granted. Parking Services cannot guarantee requested assignment changes will occur. Employees will also need to pay any open parking citations prior to renewing their permit.

New parking permits will now follow an adjusted expiration timeline designed to better align with the activation of the next permit period. This change helps ensure a smoother transition between permit cycles for employees. 10-month permits will expire on May 31, 2027, but automatically renew on Aug. 1, 2027, unless cancelled by July 1, 2027.

Permit distribution in July

Employees who renew their permit through the online portal by June 26 will receive their vinyl parking permit stickers and display instructions through campus mail in July. If you do not receive your sticker in your campus mailbox by July 24, please contact Parking Services. Employees who renew their permit after June 26 will need to stop into Parking Services after July 20 to pick up their permit. Vinyl parking permit stickers must be displayed on the rear exterior passenger side window by Aug. 1; those not properly displaying their permit sticker run the risk of being ticketed.
