Celebrate Earth Month with campus sustainability events

Campus Sustainability will host and highlight a series of events throughout April in celebration of Earth Month, offering opportunities focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Events include waste reduction initiatives such as campus cleanups, opportunities to adopt sustainable habits at a clothing swap in partnership with the Office of Inclusion and Belonging, and chances to learn more about campus and Milwaukee-wide sustainability efforts. View the calendar for a full list of events taking place throughout the month.

With the addition of sustainability specialist Sarah Knott, Campus Sustainability has been expanding opportunities for Marquette community members to engage with sustainability efforts on campus. The Marquette Sustainable Landmarks Map, recently updated by sustainability interns, is now available to explore and highlights the university’s environmentally conscious initiatives and ways to engage with them.

Marquette community members are invited to join a guided walkthrough of the Marquette Sustainable Landmarks Map on Friday, April 24. To access the Marquette Sustainable Landmarks Map, visit Campus Sustainability’s website
