Join the Jewish Student Union in celebrating Shabbat on Friday, April 10, at 5:30 p.m. in AMU 163.
Shabbat is the Jewish day of rest, observed each week from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. It is a time for reflection and for spending time with family and friends, and it is celebrated in a variety of ways across Jewish communities.
Marquette’s Jewish community will share its traditions and practices on campus, including an explanation of Shabbat and a traditional Shabbat dinner.
RSVP online by Friday, April 3.
