The Institute for Women’s Leadership Student Advisory Board will host “Health care Access for Women — The Cost of Being Dismissed: How Healthcare Decides Who Matters” on Thursday, March 26, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the 707 Hub.
The event will feature a panel and table discussions focused on strategies for women to more effectively advocate for themselves in health care settings.
Conversations will explore racial, socioeconomic and gender-based barriers to care, as well as ways women can use their voices to support underserved communities in accessing equitable health services.
Register online by March 26.
