Students interested in applying for the Fulbright Program are invited to attend the semester’s third Fulbright Workshop session on Tuesday, March 17, at 4 p.m. in Wehr Physics. The workshop will focus on brainstorming and drafting responses for the short-answer portion of the application. Fulbright Program Adviser Dr. Karalee Surface will lead guided exercises designed to help applicants identify starting points and shape their ideas.
Applicants for the 2027-28 Fulbright cycle must be rising juniors, graduate students or alumni. Those planning to apply next year are strongly encouraged to attend to connect with Surface and to develop a plan for next steps.
Younger students are welcome; however, the session will primarily serve as a working session for prospective applicants rather than a general information session. Students not yet eligible to apply will complete exercises focused on developing a multi-year fellowship plan instead of Fulbright-specific materials.
Registration is available here.
The session is co-hosted by the Marquette University Fellowships Office and the International Affairs program. Students from all majors are encouraged to attend.
