Summer 2026 class registration is underway in CheckMarq, and fall 2026 class registration begins on Tuesday, April 7. Fall registration times have been assigned and can be accessed in CheckMarq. Students may register for classes at your assigned time or thereafter.
To prepare for fall semester class registration, please do the following:
- Complete the Preregistration Cheq in CheckMarq. This required checklist includes standard agreements that must be accepted prior to registration along with a review of student contact information. Students are encouraged to complete the Preregistration Cheq as soon as possible. Simply login to CheckMarq and select the Preregistration Cheq tile or go to the Task tile and select it from there.
- Visit your academic adviser, as determined by your college advising policy. Bring a list of courses you are planning to take for the summer and/or fall semester, as well as any questions about study abroad, internships, double-majors and minors. Class Search is available to plan courses.
- If you are an undergraduate student, use Academic Advisement in CheckMarq to determine the classes you still need to take. Use Schedule Planner, also in CheckMarq, to plan your class schedule. Using these tools prior to advising will make advising sessions more effective.
The registration process will be easier if you know the courses for which you would like to register. See this how-to page for more information on how to register for classes.
Reminder: Undergraduate and graduate students can process most single-class withdrawals directly in CheckMarq. Please see Dropping and Withdrawing from Classes for more information.
