Marquette CAREs Episode 2: Exploring how Campus Ministry walks alongside students at Marquette

In the second episode of the Marquette CAREs podcast, host Kelly Albrecht welcomes Steve Blaha, director of Campus Ministry, for a thoughtful conversation on the role of faith in students’ lives. Blaha shares how Campus Ministry supports Marquette students through moments of transition, grief and personal challenge, offering care rooted in compassion, presence and inclusion.

With grace and sincerity, Blaha reflects on the realities students face as they navigate college life and highlights the many ways Campus Ministry walks alongside students at every stage, providing support for all students, regardless of background or belief.

“Care at Marquette means recognizing that students carry questions, hopes, grief, and faith with them into their college experience,” says Zabrian Oglesby, assistant dean of students and producer of the Marquette CAREs podcast. “In this episode, Steve Blaha helps name how Campus Ministry creates space for all of that, across all faiths and identities, with deep intention and compassion. I’m grateful for this conversation and encourage our families, parents, and community to listen.”
