Rising tenth to twelfth-grade students are invited to enroll in the Summer Business Academy taking place June 22 – June 24, 2026. Organized by Marquette Business, this immersive experience provides high school students with an impactful opportunity to explore business disciplines, network with industry partners and work closely with esteemed faculty. Participants will also experience campus life at Marquette University and visit industry-leading businesses in the city of Milwaukee.
Each day of the academy will focus on a specific area of business, including management, operations and supply chain, and marketing. Students will dive into each facet with hands-on workshops led by Marquette University faculty, followed by visits to area organizations to see each at work in the real world. This combination of on-campus activities and on-site business visits will provide students with valuable early exposure prior to starting college coursework.
The Summer Business Academy follows a day camp format, with an 8 a.m. drop off and 5 p.m. pick-up each day at Dr. E. J. and Margaret O’Brien Hall on the Marquette University campus. Light breakfast, lunch, learning materials and activity fees will be included in the $500 registration cost. Up to 50 students will be admitted on a first-come, first-accepted basis. Although the Summer Business Academy is designed for rising tenth to twelfth-grade students, ninth-graders will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
