Marquette Business has named Jordan Mason as the graduate program admissions recruiter and Paul (P.J.) von Paumgartten as the director of EMBA and corporate partnerships in the Graduate School of Management (GSM).

Mason will serve as the primary recruiting contact for the MBA and Master in Management programs, managing prospective student communication, application processing and attending recruitment and outreach events. Prior to this role, Mason served as a graduate admission counselor at Marquette for over five years. She earned her Master’s of Education in educational policy and leadership from Marquette in 2020. Mason brings valuable institutional experience that will support recruitment, outreach and program growth.

“We are excited to welcome Jordan to the team,” said Andrew Meyer, associate dean of the Graduate School of Management. “Her proven track record as a graduate recruiter for Marquette University, combined with her innovative ideas for graduate business recruitment and external outreach, make her an excellent fit to further grow our GSM programs.”

As the director of EMBA and corporate partnerships, von Paumgartten will lead all aspects of the EMBA program including recruitment and admissions strategy, curriculum development and student experience and support. He joins Marquette Business following his role as executive MBA director and director of master’s programs at UW-Milwaukee in the Lubar College of Business. Prior to his role at UW-Milwaukee, von Paumgartten was director of corporate and executive services at Robert W. Baird & Co. and chief operating officer for a wealth management firm at Northwestern Mutual. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from UW-Madison and his MBA from UW-Milwaukee.

“We are thrilled to welcome P.J. to the Graduate School of Management leadership team,” Meyer said. “His unique background, which combines deep corporate leadership with a strong understanding of graduate program administration, makes him the ideal fit to lead our EMBA program into its next phase of growth. P.J.’s proven ability to build and cultivate strategic partnerships will be an asset as we continue to strengthen our ties with the business community and provide a transformative experience for our students. We are excited to see the impact his leadership will have on our program and its alumni.”

The addition of Mason and von Paumgartten reflects Marquette Business’s commitment to continuous growth and innovation.
