Join a presentation for Eating Disorder Awareness Week on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Weasler Auditorium, with a virtual attendance option available. The session will explore imposter syndrome and the impact of social media on the mental health of college and graduate students.
In this presentation led by Melissa Schneider, counselor in the Marquette Counseling Center, participants will learn how curated online spaces can reinforce unrealistic standards and explore practical strategies to challenge imposter thoughts, reduce comparison and develop healthier, more intentional social media habits. The session will also provide tools and language to support students navigating mental health in today’s digital world.
