Dr. Zaid Badr receives ADEA Junior Faculty Award

Dr. Zaid Badr, clinical assistant professor and director of the Technological Innovation Center at Marquette University School of Dentistry, is the recipient of the 2025-26 Junior Faculty Award from the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).

“This prestigious recognition is a testament to Dr. Badr’s remarkable achievements and dedication to excellence in teaching, research, and service within the dental education community,” said Dean Elsbeth Kalenderian.

Presented by ADEA/ADEA Council of Students, Residents and Fellows/Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, Inc, Badr will be recognized at an award presentation during the 2026 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition in Montréal, March 21-24.

Last year, Badr was honored with the Participating Faculty Research Award at Marquette’s Distinguished Scholars Program for his work in advancing digital dentistry by leveraging artificial intelligence and exploring innovative technologies. He was also inducted to the prestigious International College of Dentists in 2025.
