Teaching with AI: A Collaborative Workshop for Educators, Jan. 29 

Join colleagues from Marquette, UW–Milwaukee, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Waukesha County Technical College and the Medical College of Wisconsin on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union for a workshop on how faculty across disciplines use artificial intelligence to enrich teaching and learning. 

This interactive event, organized with support from the Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute, will feature sessions on topics such as: 

  • Instructional Technology: Practical tools and integrations for the classroom 
  • Ethical Course Design and Assessments with AI: Fostering integrity and responsible AI use 
  • Creative “Nifty” Assignments: Innovative ways to engage students 
  • Getting Started: Low-barrier ways to experiment with AI in your teaching 
  • Administrative and Leadership Perspectives: Policy, strategy, and support frameworks
