Undergraduate tuition and housing and food rates for 2026-27
To that end, the Marquette University Board of Trustees has approved a smaller tuition increase than last year. For the 2026–27 academic year, the Board of Trustees has approved a 3.5% undergraduate tuition increase, bringing undergraduate tuition to $53,890. There will be no changes to student fees.
Housing and food rates will increase 3% for the 2026–27 academic year to account for improvements to and rising costs for residence and dining facilities. Visit marquette.edu/central for a complete listing of housing and food rates and student fees.
Families who currently receive federal financial aid should complete the FAFSA form by Feb. 1, 2026, to ensure they receive all eligible aid. Please contact Marquette Central at (414) 288-4000 with questions.
Graduate and professional program tuition rates
The Marquette University Board of Trustees approved the following changes to graduate and professional tuition rates for the 2026–27 academic year. More information on tuition and fees can be found at marquette.edu/central.
Graduate programs:
- A per-credit increase of $50 for the Graduate School* and Graduate School of Management programs (*except Graduate School Humanities programs in English, History, Theology and Philosophy)
- A per-credit increase of $125 for Graduate School Humanities programs in English, History, Theology and Philosophy
- A per-credit increase of $35 for Graduate School programs in Education
- There will be no changes to the $200 per semester (fall and spring semesters only) fee to support graduate student success, wellness and recreation, and IT support, which is charged to students enrolled in Graduate School programs, including those in the Direct Entry M.S.N. program. Students enrolled in online-only Graduate School and Graduate School of Management programs will continue to be assessed only a $120 per-semester fee, not the $200 per-semester fee.
Professional programs:
- Approximately 2% increase for in-state and out-of-state students in the School of Dentistry
- 2% increase for students in Marquette University Law School
- 2% on average increase for full-time students in the College of Health Sciences’ professional programs. Consult the Rate Guide at marquette.edu/central for specifics.
Master of Science in Nursing — Second-Degree Direct Entry for Non-nurses:
- No annual tuition increase for existing cohorts. The annual rate for students starting in summer or fall 2026 or spring 2027 will be $69,000.
