Faculty member earns fellowship from American College of Cardiology

Peggy Conroy, an adjunct faculty member in the College of Nursing, was named a fellow by the American College of Cariology. The designation signifies commitment to the highest standards of cardiovascular care.

“I am pleased and humbled to receive this honor,” Conroy said. “The ACC is one of the premier authorities on cardiovascular health in the country, and I am proud to be a longtime member of the organization. Their work aligns with my personal mission of protecting patients’ heart health across the lifespan.”

Conroy is an advanced practice provider with more than 40 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular treatment. She is widely recognized for her leadership in clinical practice, advanced practice provider education and program development. She is a preceptor and mentor for Marquette University students and has been a faculty member since 2016. Sigma Theta Tau’s Delta Gamma At-Large chapter inducted Conroy as a member in 2024.
