Marilyn Jones, director of the Lemonis Center for Student Success, joined President Kimo Ah Yun on this month’s episode of 620 WTMJ’s “The Upswing.”
Jones, a first-generation student herself, emphasized the role of upward mobility and stability for first-generation students at institutions like Marquette. President Ah Yun, who recently celebrated his one-year anniversary as president, highlighted the importance of the Lemonis Center in supporting student retention.
Hosted by Marquette alumnus Jeff Sherman, “The Upswing” highlights the ever-changing world of business and commerce in Milwaukee and across the state of Wisconsin. President Ah Yun is joined each month by an expert from campus to discuss their work.
