Marquette is providing employees on the university’s medical plan (UMR) an update regarding the active contract negotiations between UnitedHealthcare, which owns UMR, and Ascension Wisconsin.
The two organizations reached a multi-year agreement today that provides those on the university’s medical plan with immediate access to Ascension’s hospitals and providers in southeastern Wisconsin. The agreement is retroactive to Oct. 1; claims will be processed in-network without interruption.
