Official fall 2025 enrollment, retention and graduation rate statistics, compiled by the Office of Institutional Research and Analysis (OIRA), are now available via the dataMarq Report Catalog. This fall, Marquette welcomed an incoming class of 1,913 first-year students. Thirty-three percent of the incoming first-year class are students of color, 22% are first generation, and 10% are commuters.
Marquette’s total undergraduate population for fall 2025 is 8,206, up significantly over the previous year. Graduate program enrollment also continues to thrive, with 3,705 graduate and professional students now enrolled at Marquette.
Recent undergraduate cohorts have posted strong retention and graduation rates. Last year’s first-year class was retained at an exceptional 92.8%, the highest first-to-second-year retention rate in recent history. In addition, Marquette’s four-year graduation rate was 71.3% and its five-year graduation rate was 80.3%.
FERPA-trained Marquette employees can explore these statistics in more detail though OIRA’s internal census reports, available via the dataMarq Report Catalog. Employees who would like to learn more about these reports are encouraged to register for OIRA’s October 16 GROW session.
Marquette students, Marquette employees without FERPA training, and the general public can explore Marquette’s official statistics via one of the many public reports on OIRA’s website.
