Marquette University Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education will continue its Get to Know series with Adam Procell, director of Milwaukee’s Office of Community Wellness and Safety, on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson recently appointed Procell to lead the office, formerly known as the Office of Violence Prevention. Procell has worked to prevent gang violence as a community outreach worker with Partners in Hope and as CEO of Paradigm Shift, a consulting firm aimed at improving the justice system. His personal story, including actions he took at age 15, has drawn significant attention to his appointment.
The conversation will be moderated by Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center.
RSVP online by Tuesday, Oct 21. Lunch is included.
