Students who are interested in Marquette’s study abroad program in Rome have until Sunday, March 1 to submit their applications.
The two-week study abroad course will run between June 14 and June 27. Participants will earn three credits and satisfy an ESSV2 requirement. The course is open to students of all majors and has no prerequisite except for a 2.5 GPA.
Participants in the course will visit major cultural and historical sites such as St. Peter’s Basilica, Pompeii and the Colosseum. The course also involves meetings with entrepreneurs, such as the owner of an authentic gelato shop and a well-regarded local vineyard owner. This course offers the cultural immersion and growth opportunities of study abroad within a condensed timeframe, making it perfect for those who do not wish to spend a whole semester away from campus.
