Dr. Bill Henk receives Neuner Award for Excellence in Professional Scholarly Publication

Dr. Bill Henk, dean emeritus of the College of Education, received the Neuner Award for Excellence in Professional Scholarly Publication from the American Association of University Administrators at its recent annual conference.

The distinction recognizes overall intellectual, scholarly and professional quality and the extent to which the work advances practical wisdom in the area of higher education leadership.

He was honored along with his co-author, Dr. Shelley Wepner of Manhattanville University, for their study titled “Chief Academic Officers’ Reasons for Remaining or Exiting their Positions,” published in the Journal of Higher Education Management. Henk and his research partner received this national award for the second time, having garnered it previously in 2018.
