The Association of Marquette University Women will host a fall book club event featuring a short presentation by Dr. Heather Hathaway, acting dean of the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education, on Monday, Oct. 27, in the Raynor Library Beaumier Suites.
Small group discussions will follow the presentation as participants read “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood. Banned. Controversial. Unforgettable. Books that provoke strong reactions stand the test of time.
Registration begins at 6:30 p.m., with discussion to follow at 7 p.m.
