Marquette University’s 2026 Annual Benefits Enrollment period begins Monday, Oct. 20, and runs through Monday, Nov. 3, at 4 p.m. This is the time for employees to review their current benefit selections and make any desired changes for the upcoming year.
Employees are encouraged to visit the 2026 Annual Benefits Enrollment website to explore available plans, review updates and find step-by-step enrollment instructions.
What do I need to do?
- Evaluate and enroll
- Determine if you want to change your medical plan or the family members you cover. If covering a spouse on a medical plan, you must re-enroll and complete the spousal surcharge waiver if they do not have access to employer provided medical coverage.
- Decide if you would like to change any of your current benefit enrollments, contribute to an FSA or HSA account, or add other benefits.
- Call a benefits educator (Optavise expert) by calling (877) 759-7668 if you would like assistance with your enrollment or have questions. No appointment is necessary.
Highlights for 2026
- There are no medical plan changes; deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance and out-of-pocket maximums remain unchanged. Medical plan premiums increased, but all other premiums remain unchanged for 2026.
- The wellness year began Sept. 1 and will continue through Aug. 14, 2026. Opportunities to earn points toward rewards will be shared on the Employee Wellness website.
- A new financial wellness benefit is available and connects you with financial planners who educate, advise and coach on any money matter, including defeating debt, making and managing investments, exploring tax strategies, understanding Social Security, transitioning to retirement and more. They have no investment products to sell, so you can feel confident that you will always receive completely objective advice. Learn more online.
- The dependent care flexible spending account limit increased from $5,000 to $7,500 for 2026.
