New trustee elected to Marquette board

Marquette University’s Board of Trustees at its September 2025 meeting elected Robert (Bob) Hau, chief financial officer of Fiserv Inc., as its newest member.

Marquette trustees serve for three-year terms and may be re-elected to serve for a maximum of 12 years; they are volunteers and are not compensated for their service.

Bob Hau

A 1987 graduate of Marquette’s College of Business Administration, Hau has more than 35 years of experience in business and financial leadership roles. He joined Fiserv as CFO in 2016, from which time the company has grown from $5.5 billion in annual revenue to $19 billion in 2024. Hau was instrumental in the combination of Fiserv and First Data Corp. in 2019, which transformed Fiserv into one of the world’s leading payment and financial technology providers serving financial institutions, corporate and merchant clients, and consumers globally.

Before joining Fiserv, Hau was CFO of TE Connectivity Ltd., a $12 billion global product technology company, and Lennox International Inc. He also spent 22 years at Honeywell International Inc. in a variety of financial and operational leadership roles, including serving as chief financial officer of its Aerospace Business Group, Specialty Materials Business Group and Aerospace Electronic Systems Unit.

Hau is a member of the board of directors of OpenText and of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. He is also a member of the Greater Milwaukee Committee and the Marquette College of Business Administration Department of Finance Advisory Board. He was named the College of Business Administration Distinguished Alumnus of the Year in 2023.
