Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee will host “Brains, Balance and Breakthroughs: Insights on Female Brain Health” on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Concordia 27 (801 N. 27th St.).
Join a local panel of experts in neuroscience and clinical practice to understand mood and stress disorders that disproportionately affect women. Discover effective, individualized treatments through a gender-responsive and trauma-informed lens.
Scaling Wellness in Milwaukee is a nonprofit organization formed to increase strategic partnerships among community service providers and address generational trauma in Milwaukee.
The panel will feature:

- Dr. Jacklynn Fitzgerald, assistant professor of psychology, Marquette University
- Dr. Marieke Gilmartin, associate professor and chair for research of biomedical sciences, Marquette University
- Dr. Angelique Lewis, owner and psychologist, Grace Healing & Wellness
- Dr. Jen Tuscher, assistant professor of pharmacology and toxicology, Medical College of Wisconsin
