Faculty mini-grants available through Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies

Faculty are eligible to apply for mini-grants from the Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies. Applications are due Friday, Oct. 17. Apply online

The mini-grants, funded by a gift from WIPCS founding member Dick Ringler and membership dues, support faculty scholarship and instruction in areas related to peace and conflict. Eligible topics include foreign policy, global conflict and domestic issues such as race, gender, culture, the environment, migration and economic disparity.

Academic staff and faculty from WIPCS member schools (prior year, current year or renewal pending) may apply for a $300 grant. Individuals may apply more than once but cannot receive more than one award per academic year. Grant recipients are expected to present their work at the annual WIPCS faculty-student conference, with conference fees waived.

Grant recipients and proposals will be announced on the WIPCS website. More information is available here
