Dr. Meghan Stroshine receives Father Pedro Arrupe, S.J., Faculty Colleague Award 

Dr. Meghan Stroshine, associate professor and associate director of the criminal justice data analytics program in the Department of Social and Cultural Sciences, was named the 2025 recipient of the Father Pedro Arrupe, S.J., Faculty Colleague Award. 

Launched in 2019, the award honors a faculty member whose generosity toward others stands out. Stroshine was nominated by colleagues who praised her advocacy, mentorship and leadership, particularly during her six years as department chair.  

One nominator wrote, “She is generous with her time, talents and skills, and her kindness and generosity have touched the lives of thousands of individuals whose journey has led them to Marquette University.” 

She received the award at the Academic Year Welcome hosted by the Office of Faculty Affairs. In her remarks, Stroshine emphasized that “kindness counts” and stressed the value of generosity in service to others.
