Marquette undergraduate students returned to campus beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 20, taking part in a variety of events to kick off the 2025-26 academic year. As the first week of classes comes to an end, take a look back at all our campus community has already done through the lens of photographer Patrick Manning.


Marquette welcomed more than 1,930 members of its Class of 2029 on move-in day; first-year students represent 39 states, two U.S. territories and 19 countries.




The first evening of Orientation began with the Family Liturgy in Varsity Theatre.



In what has become a heartwarming tradition, students shared emotional goodbyes as their next chapter began.
