CTL faculty teaching fellow and workshop leader opportunities available for 2025-26

Faculty members are invited to share their gifts and talents in teaching and learning by applying for roles in the Center for Teaching and Learning for this academic year. Applications are due Monday, Aug. 11.

Faculty fellow

This is a chance for interested faculty to share their gifts, talents, expertise and good judgment with others across campus. The Center for Teaching and Learning seeks applications from faculty in any academic unit on campus for two positions each semester during the 2025-26 academic year. Faculty can be tenure stream of any rank or position or participating non-tenure stream faculty of any rank or position. Faculty teaching fellows are expected to work on average three to five hours per week from Aug. 25 to the winter Gift of Time in the fall semester, and/or from after the winter Gift of Time until May 20 in the spring semester. A stipend of $2,000 per semester will be awarded to each faculty teaching fellow. The full description and application is available online.

CTL workshop leader

Are you a faculty member who can’t stop thinking and talking about a specific issue related to teaching and learning? Do you want to have dedicated time to create resources and discuss with colleagues across campus something that’s on your mind? Do you have a secret font of wisdom you’d like to share about teaching students in this moment? If at least one of those questions speaks to you, you should consider applying to run a short, targeted workshop series through the CTL sometime this academic year. Faculty in any role and department across Marquette’s campus are encouraged to pitch their ideas. The CTL workshop leader will also create and curate resources on the topic so the series will have a presence on the CTL website after the workshop series concludes. Applications are due Aug. 11. The full description and application is available online.
