
Vitus Freiherr von Hirschberg, a student in the Graduate School of Management’s Master of Business Administration Program, has been selected as the 2025 graduate student Commencement speaker.
Von Hirschberg, a native of Germany, is a two-time Marquette graduate with concentrations in marketing and business analytics. He has worked with Andrew Deguire, dean of the College of Business Administration, on a number of key projects, specifically re-accreditation.
He was the winner of the Marquette’s award for Outstanding Performance as a Student Employee and a winner of the Dean’s Student of the Year Award in the College of Business Administration.
Von Hirschberg is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Sigma Nu and served as a practice player for the women’s basketball program.
Marquette’s 144th Commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, May 10, at Fiserv Forum, located at 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave., Milwaukee. The undergraduate ceremony will be at 1 p.m.; the Graduate School and Graduate School of Management ceremony will be later that day at 5 p.m. The School of Dentistry, Law School and College of Health Sciences’ professional programs will hold separate ceremonies and will not be part of the Fiserv Forum ceremonies.
Guest tickets are required for entry into the 2025 undergraduate Commencement ceremony; all guests will need to provide a digital ticket.
