Public relations and theology student Justice Osondu to deliver 2025 undergraduate Commencement address 

Justice Osondu, a double major in public relations and theology with a concentration in communication leadership, has been selected as the 2025 undergraduate student Commencement speaker. 

Osondu has taken on various leadership roles during his time at Marquette, building community as a resident assistant and co-president of the Marquette Billiards Club. He has served as a partnerships intern with the Milwaukee Bucks, a student ministry intern with the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and a corporate communications intern with Michael Best Strategies LLC. 

A graduate of Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory of Houston and a member of the Urban Scholars program, Osondu has participated in Marquette Gospel Choir, a M.A.P. (Marquette Action Program) service trip to Montgomery, Alabama, the Diederich College of Communication experience to both Chicago and Puerto Rico and has volunteered at Younglife and City on a Hill. He launched “The Daily Walk Podcast” through Marquette Radio.  

Marquette’s 144th Commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, May 10, at Fiserv Forum, located at 1111 Vel R. Phillips Ave., Milwaukee. The undergraduate ceremony will be at 1 p.m.; the Graduate School and Graduate School of Management ceremony will be later that day at 5 p.m. The School of Dentistry, Law School and College of Health Sciences’ professional programs will hold separate ceremonies and will not be part of the Fiserv Forum ceremonies. 

Guest tickets are required for entry into the 2025 undergraduate Commencement ceremony; all guests will need to provide a digital ticket.
