President Ah Yun learns about, serves at Midnight Run in new Campus Connections

In a new Campus Connections video feature, President Kimo Ah Yun meets the student leaders of Midnight Run to learn about the campus service organization and volunteer alongside a student team at a service site.

Midnight Run dates to 1988 and is entirely organized by students under Campus Ministry’s supervision. Each week, student teams visit nine community sites near Marquette’s campus to serve and package meals, play with children, and sort and stock food pantries. Students work at the same site on a weekly basis throughout each semester, creating fellowship among those who are served.

President Ah Yun joined the student team that works at the St. Vincent de Paul North site each Tuesday evening to package food, serve a meal and greet guests.

Campus Connections features President Ah Yun’s candid encounters with members of the Marquette community that demonstrate the university’s mission in action.
